New MyQ App and Gate Access Update

We are pleased to announce the rollout of our new community access system, scheduled for installation next week. Please read the information below carefully to ensure you do not experience any disruption to your gate or community access.
1. Required: New Gate Access Request Form
All homeowners must submit a new Gate Access Request Form. This is to ensure data has been accurately recovered for minimal access interruptions.

When completing your form, please ensure the following:
• Remove any outdated or unused toll tags before submission.
• Verify your four-digit personal access code for accuracy. This code will be used in the new system.
2. MyQ Garage App Users
If you currently use the MyQ app for your garage door:
• You must provide the same email address used for your MyQ garage account when completing your new Gate Access Request Form.
• Using the same email allows your MyQ Garage and MyQ Community apps to sync seamlessly once you accept the MyQ Community invitation and register.
• If you use a different email address, the two systems cannot sync, and you will be required to use two separate apps—one for your garage and one for the entry gate.
3. Homeowners With Tenants
If your home is rented:
• You must submit a separate Gate Access Request Form for each tenant.
• Tenants who were listed in the old gate system have been removed if we did not have updated tenant information or if they were previously using your personal access code.
• If you have not previously submitted a tenant access form, you will need to do so now to maintain their gate access.
• This update applies to the entry gate only and does not affect amenity access.
• We strongly encourage homeowners who shared their personal access code with tenants to update and change their code immediately for security purposes.
4. Personal Access Code Format Change
The previous system required entering your code with a leading pound symbol (e.g., #1234).
The new system no longer requires the “#” symbol.
Upon arrival at the call box, simply enter your code and press “Enter.”
5. Guest Passes via the MyQ Community App
Once you are registered in the new MyQ Community app, you will be able to generate guest passes.
Guest passes should be used for:
• Deliveries
• Landscape services
• Dog walkers
• Family and visitors
• Any other temporary or recurring guests

It is essential that each homeowner completes the steps above to avoid any interruptions to community access.
